Depression

“Sadness through a cracked, smiling mask.”

Hidden struggles behind a smile.

In everyday occurrences whenever someone asks you, “How are you?”, “I’m fine, I’m ok, I’m doing alright” are typical responses, but sometimes the answer you want to give is the one you hold back. Because that answer leads to more questions, questions you really would rather not deal with. Questions you yourself are unable to answer, or to even come to terms with. Besides that, you would rather not bring anyone else down and just keep going through the motions. Many others have gone through the same thing and came out on top on their own, right?

"To share your weakness is to make yourself vulnerable; to make yourself vulnerable is to show your strength." ― Criss Jami
